Pollutant Analyses

  Testing cotton
  for possible pollutants

The tests were carried out by the Hohenstein Research Institute according to Eco-Tex 100 Standard. The Hohehnstein Research Institute plays a leading role in the development of the Eco-Tex Standard and is an accredited laboratory under the DAP German Accreditation System for Testing Procedures PLC.
Pollutant Analyses

In all the tests carried out so far, all the samples were within the permissible values for product classes I to IV of the Eco-Tex 100 Standard.

All the test series confirm that the treatment and use of pesticides in cotton production does not pose any hazard for the processor of the raw material and none at all for the end consumer.

The increased use of genetically modified seed in cotton farming will mean that the use of pesticides will further decline, so that in future it is also not assumed that the pollutant analyses will record any critical vales.

Nevertheless, the test series will continue.
