From the beginning of January 2007, the list of origins of the CIF price quotations is slightly modified. The Committee for Standards, for the Determination of Value Differences and for Price Quotations, on its meeting on 03 January, 2007 decided to replace the quotations for Australian cotton by Indian S-6 as consequence of the strongly changed development of arrivals in Bremen. Australian cotton had not been imported into Germany last year, whereas imports of Indian cotton increased considerably.
